Meta models in cyber physical system

The lifetime behavior of a safety relay can be determined by combining a simulation model with the real data of an acting (elementary) relay in a cyber-physical system. Based on the simulation results preventive measures can be started. Further, parameters of the relay and detected effects, e.g. magnetic field behavior and electrical contact lifetime, are represented by a Metamodel of Optimal Prognosis (MOP) that can be used as a Functional Mockup Unit (FMU).

Parameter identification for an hyperelastic material model of an elastomer rubber boot

The generation of a reliable hyperelastic material model helps to develop a robust rubber boot of a constant velocity (CV) joint. The model calibration was conducted by using the results of parameter variations in a sensitivity analysis. Furthermore, a direct optimization with an adaptive response surface method was implemented to fit the stress strain curves to the experimental data with the help of optiSLang.
