Nonlinear 3D FE-Stability analysis of suction pile constructions

Dynardo developed in cooperation with EDR Medeso Norway a workflow for the FE 3D simulation of suction pile constructions for underwater foundations.

In addition to FE analyses of the suction pile construction using a 3D model, the sea ground was modeled three-dimensionally to achieve a physically more accurate simulation of the nonlinear interactions. This approach resulted in a significant improvement of design and installation options.
