Six sigma design, robustness analysis and reliability analysis, design for six sigma, robust design optimization with optiSLang
The seminar communicates the theory and application of the methods of multi disciplinary optimization, robustness evaluation and reliability analysis in optiSLang. The areas of application for different methods in optiSLang are being discussed. The ratio of lectures and seminars is 50 % each. The seminar is directed to CAD engineers in the whole CAE-area (FE, CFD, MKS) and also for decision makers in the CAE field with emphasis on non-linear optimisation and stochastic. The seminar gives a good overview of the state of art optimization methods and reliability analysis. The exercises with optiSlang illustrate the limits of application of the methods.
