Training: Introduction to optiSLang & SimulationX

During the seminar "optiSLang and SimulationX" you will learn the basic functions regarding process integration, sensitivity analysis and optimization of SimulationX-models with optiSLang.

The one-day introductory seminar will inform you about how to use optiSLang for the analysis and optimization of a SimulationX model. Both the direct integration of SimulationX as well as the use of models from the code-export will be explained. In optiSLang, you will learn how to conduct a sensitivity analysis and to interpret the graphically displayed results, e.g. to identify the influence of the model parameters towards the response variables. This information can be used for an efficient optimization of the model.

2. Process Integration

  • Direct integration of a SimulationX model
  • Integration of a model from the code-export
  • Extraction of result variables from time step-based data

  • Metamodel of Optimal Prognosis (MOP)

4. Solution of the optimization task

  • Definition of objective function and constraints
  • Direct optimization of SimulationX-models
  • Optimization on MOP

5. Identification of model parameters from measurement results

  • Formulation of the identification task
  • Calibrating of the relevant model response variables
  • Analysis of the identifiability of model parameters

As a prerequisite, basic knowledge about statistics and optiSLang is required which can be obtained by attending the training "optiSLang basics".
